QUALIFY

If you Qualify BORN TO RIDE BICYCLE WILL EQUIP YOUR location with a fleet of Bicycle rentals, with a cleaning & maintenance program in place. We will also supply helmets (8 years and up) and locks, at the time each rental goes out.

ADD ONS

Born To Ride Bicycle will equip your customers with additional add ons, ie. saddle bag racks, handle bar pocket bags, spare tubes, kits, customizing each bicycle to there needs.  We take the time to make a good fit between each cyclist and there bicycle. We draw from 15 years of experience as trainers and bicycle mechanics.

FLEET OF BICYCLES

While you will carry a limited number of bicycles on location, your customers will also have access to our mobile inventory of up to 100 assorted (standard and unique) bicycles, at our storage facilities throughout Ontario.

HOW DOES MY ORGANIZATION QUALIFY

  1. You will be expected to purchase and maintain a fleet of bicycle inventory through Born To Ride Bicycle: SELECTED, ORDERED AND ASSEMBLED BY BORN TO RIDE BICYCLE'S MECHANICS, locks and helmets, basic Bicycle mechanics tools and or equipment used strictly within work area, will be a part of this purchase, and inventory maintained inside a secure, clean dry, facility that you provide , protected and sanitized, proper lighting for detailed assessment by a mechanic, as each bicycles is cleaned, serviced after use.
  2.  The number and type of bicycles in your facility, will be calculated is based on a percentage of your average occupancy, 
  3. An assessment of your location for suitable styles of bicycles will be completed.

YOUR RENTAL STORAGE FACILITY REQUIREMENTS

  1. WORKING STORAGE AREA: You will provide a secured , not accessible to the public, dry climate controlled area (adjustable mechanical thermostat), having one access door to the outside, and one access door leading into your facility for front desk staff, customer service, washroom access..etc. a security camera is recommended.
  2.  OUTSIDE SERVICE DOOR ACCESS:  from the parking lot, a service vehicle is  able to pull up without obstructions, for parking to load/unload supplies, parts and equipment into rental storage area, without entering through your front lobby.
  3. STORAGE: 10 sqft /per bicycle, PLUS an enclosed clean secured metal shelving unit for helmets & accessories (shelving (helmet) capacity must handle 2-3 times the number of bicycles )
  4. AFTER USE CLEANING AREA: Minimum 100 sqft with drainage for spray/washing down and sanitization after use of equipment. 
  5. MAINTENANCE: Minimum of 50 sqft work area, a (2' x 4 - 6ft ) countertop surface for mechanics tools, and a secured bicycle metal cabinet 
  6. HYGIENE: Laundry tub with counter surface, hygiene and cleaning parts for reassembly
  7. SPRAY WATER HOSE: 15-20ft water hose connected to isolated-dedicated standard water tap, with adjustable spray nozzle for indoor/outdoor use
  8. POWER OULETS: 120VAC 15-20 amp commercial grade GFCI outlets, w/metal cover plates, at each work area, and/or any water source (CSA CODE).
